Become a Trustee

Closing Date: Friday 16 August 2024

Department: Board of Trustees
Reports to: Board Chair
Hours: Part-time voluntary position
Location: Flexible

The Role

Durrell’s Board of Trustees is made up of passionate and dedicated experts, with diverse backgrounds and relevant experience from different organisations. Trustees voluntarily offer their time to ensure the Trust meets its regulatory requirements and hold the senior leadership team accountable for delivering Durrell’s strategic goals.

Durrell is looking to recruit four Trustees with skills in:

  • fundraising / philanthropy
  • zoo management
  • conservation science and training
  • professional directorships and investments

Although we are looking to strengthen our Board of Trustees experience in the above areas, Durrell benefits from having Trustees with a wide range of skills and experience and we therefore welcome nominations from any candidates who feel they have expertise which can support our vision of a wilder, healthier, more colourful world.

If you would like to support Durrell's mission and vital conservation work, then we would love to hear from you.
