Get ready for a roar-some week at Jersey Zoo as dinosaurs take over!
From 24 – 30 May, Jersey Zoo will be going Jurassic as dinosaurs descend on the zoo. Come face-to-face with prehistoric giants and learn more about what it takes to care for them from their dedicated rangers.
The life-size animated puppets roar, blink and move just like real dinosaurs, giving guests insights into the fascinating world of these marvellous creatures.
Visitors will get the chance to get up close and personal with a meet and greet with both a five-metre-long triceratops a (how big) velociraptor and baby dinosaurs. They can also attend a ranger academy, as well as learn how to get a velociraptor to hold, turn, roar and dance!
Activities start at 9:30 and last all the way until 16:30, making it a full day out not to be missed.
