Conservation Training Manager

Reports to: Director of Conservation Knowledge

Contract: Full time (35 hours per week), permanent

Location: Jersey preferable, or UK (with regular travel to Jersey and other training locations)

 

The Role

To manage Durrell’s Conservation Training Teams, and global programme of work, including in Jersey, Madagascar, Mauritius and potential expansion sites. To oversee the delivery of our conservation training programmes in line with our vision to create a global community of conservation professionals rewilding the world. This role will oversee the optimisation and growth of our global training programme for conservation practitioners and our staff, both at our rewilding sites around the world, and at our HQ in Jersey in collaboration with relevant local staff from all departments in those locations. This will include development of new courses, exploring the potential for the use of new training mediums with the aim of scaling up our training impact around the world.
