Mobility Scooter terms of use

In hiring a Mobility Scooter from Jersey Zoo, you agree to the following:

• The mobility scooter user is under 30 stone.
• The mobility scooter user is over 16 years old.
• The mobility scooter user is the only person who will use the mobility scooter and will not let anyone else ride on the mobility scooter with them.
• The mobility scooter user will only use the equipment around the designated paths of Jersey Zoo.
• The mobility scooter user will return the mobility scooter 30 minutes before the Zoo closes.
• The mobility scooter user will take all due care and attention whilst using the mobility scooter, including maintaining a speed that is comparable to walking pace and avoiding contact with other objects and people.
• The mobility scooter user will use the mobility scooter at their own risk, and they will be responsible for the cost of any damage caused by them to the equipment or any property whilst the equipment is in their possession.
• If the mobility scooter user suffers any damage or injury as a result of, or in the course of using the mobility scooter, whether or not the injury or damage is caused or contributed to by any negligence on the part of Jersey Zoo, they will release Jersey Zoo from any liability.
• If any other person or entity suffers injury or damage as a result of, or in the course of the mobility scooter users use of the mobility scooter, whether or not the  injury or damage is caused or contributed to by any negligence on the part of Jersey Zoo, theyH will indemnify Jersey Zoo against any resultant liability.
