The Durrell Challenge Results
We were delighted to see over 500 runners take part in the second Durrell Challenge, on Sunday 14th May, including our global ambassador Henry Cavill. We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part and for their help raising valuable funds for Durrell. Thank you also to our amazing Ambassador, Henry Cavill, for making it an extra-special occasion!
The line-up included entrants from 17 countries and nearly 30 VIP runners who all committed to raise funds in excess of £1,000 for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
The challenging 13K route started from Victoria Park in St Helier and took runners through beautiful green lanes up to Jersey Zoo where finishers were welcomed by family and friends.
The first man across the line was James Faudemer in a time of 47:59 and the winning woman was Rebecca Thompson in a time of 54:10.
