Bird Experience

Go behind the scenes in our aviaries and spend time learning about the many species of birds at Jersey Zoo. Our experienced staff will share their insights into these beautiful animals and how Durrell is working to save their cousins in the wild. This experience will last for 45 minutes.   

Terms & Conditions

• This experience takes place at Jersey Zoo, Channel Islands.  
• Each £60 payment is for one person and does not include admission to the Zoo which must be purchased separately. 
• By purchasing this experience you agree to abide by all applicable terms and conditions. 
• Membership discount is not applicable for animal experiences.
• This experience lasts for 45 mins inclusive of health and safety briefing. 
• This experience has a maximum capacity of 4 people per session. 
• Your experience may be shared with other guests. 
• This experience is suitable for children aged 6 and over.  
• All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who also has a paid experience ticket and a paid admission ticket if required.   
• Your experience may be altered with little or no notice due to weather and animal considerations. 
• Animal handling is not permitted; proximity to the animals is at the keeper’s discretion on the day.   
• Cancellation with fewer than 24 hours notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee.   
• You must wear appropriate clothing,including walking boots/shoes or wellington boots for the duration of the experience to comply with biosecurity procedures.
• Limited accessibility: This experience can be adapted to facilitate wheelchair access with prior notice. Due to the behind the scenes nature of the experience medical assistance dogs are not permitted.
